Headway Cardiff relies heavily on its team of volunteers and is always interested in hearing from people with time to offer.
Without the 25 strong team of volunteers we currently have, we would be unable to provide the number of services that we do.
If you can spare 4 or 5 hours a week regularly and enjoy working with people, then you may be interested in becoming a volunteer support worker at our Day Centre.
This involves supporting individuals with an acquired brain injury to participate in the programme of activities we offer, providing a listening ear and helping to make refreshments.
Additionally if you have a particular skill or interest, we are always looking for speakers or workshop facilitators.
If you have an occasional hour or two to spare, then you can help by:
- Charitable collections (usually at Supermarkets)
- Selling Raffle Tickets
- Helping at Fundraising events such as the Summer Fayre
- Sourcing Raffle Prizes from individuals and businesses
